Complete bladder gangrene caused by bilateral hypogastric artery ligation during laparoscopic radical hysterectomy.
Ischemic complications are extremely rare after radical pelvic surgery because of the collateral blood supply in the pelvis. We report a case of complete bladder gangrene 3 weeks after a laparoscopic radical hysterectomy with bilateral hypogastric artery ligation in a 70-year-old woman with cervical cancer.
