Capsulodesis in reconstructive hand surgery. Dorsal capsulodesis for the unstable scaphoid and volar capsulodesis following excision of the distal ulna.

The use of a soft tissue flap of wrist capsule in reconstructive surgery is described. Stabilization is achieved by capsulodesis for rotatory subluxation of the scaphoid, and for the distal ulna after excision of the ulnar head.
