Abnormal brain stem auditory-evoked potentials in Stilling-Türk-Duane retraction syndrome.

We performed brain stem auditory-evoked potentials on 14 patients who had the Stilling-Türk-Duane retraction syndrome. Nine of the 14 had an increased latency in Wave III, implicating a pontine anomaly as the cause of the retraction syndrome in these patients.
