Follow-up after radical orchiectomy for testicular cancer.

Follow-up after testicular cancer therapy is critical. Effective salvage therapy increases the importance of detection of recurrences at a low volume state when they may remain curable. The highest risk period is in the first 2 years but after initial therapy to the retroperitoneum, late recurrences have been noted many years later. A follow-up schedule for following markers and imaging is proposed.
