The prognosis of pelviureteric obstruction in childhood: a review of 190 cases.

190 children with pelviureteric obstruction are reviewed. Their symptoms are analysed and the pre- and post-operative radiographic appearances are assessed. The results are very encouraging with a clinical improvement in the majority of patients, free ureteric drainage in almost all and an improvement in the calyceal pattern in 65.9%.
